Commander of the Martyr Ahmed Al-Abdo Forces
Report of the Operations Section of Unit 360 1 1 on the work and implementation of the attack on ISIS
in the Eastern Qalamoun sector
On 6/18/2016, the Martyr Ahmed Al-Abdo Forces launched an attack on ISIS, which was positioned on
the following axes:
- Eastern Mountain Range, Bir Zubaydah Observatory
- Dabaa Hill
The last mountain of snakes
The work began at a capacity of 1000 on the morning of Saturday, corresponding to 18/6/2016 AD,
according to the work plan issued by the operations room of Unit 360/1 on the three axes, where
violent clashes took place between our forces and ISIS elements. All types of heavy, medium and
individual weapons were used. The first advance of our forces occurred on the eastern mountain range
axis of Bir Zubaydah after the start of military operations for approximately three hours, where control
was taken over one of the strategic hills that the organization relied on for surveillance and sniping,
while the rest of the forces continued to advance on the same axis until they reached the organization’s
advanced points. As for the rest of the axes, Dabaa Hill and Jabal Al-Afaei, our forces tried to advance
and storm, but due to the dense mines and the rugged nature of the terrain, they prevented any
tangible progress, and the work is still ongoing until now.
Initial results of the battle:
- Complete control over Bir Zubaydah Observatory
2- Cutting off ISIS supply route from Bir Zubaydah towards Tal al-Dabaa
3 - Destroying two vehicles belonging to the organization, one of which was loaded with a 14.5 mm anti-
tank missile, and killing those inside.
Destroying most of the defensive bunkers and fortifications located on the same sites.
E - Initial surface information indicates that more than 15 ISIS elements were killed in all operational
axes.
6- There are no losses in weapons and equipment.
Martyrs:
The martyr Soumer Bakr (the second company)
Martyr Abdel Nasser Bayad (Second Company)
Martyr Hassan Marai Al-Abdullah (Engineering Company)
The wounded
Five people were slightly injured.
There will be no work without sacrifice.
We ask God for stability
