As for ISIS movements in the region, in the past two days we have monitored active movement of ISIS vehicles and elements coming from areas controlled by the organization to the Al-Mahsa area. Several targets were identified for the organization’s vehicles to gather in Talat Al-Dabaa and were fired at with mortar shells and tank shells, God willing, causing direct hits, which forced them to evacuate some points. At midnight on Monday, July 18, 2016, at 12:15, a convoy of ISIS consisting of 13 vehicles was seen heading from the village of Al-Nasiriyah towards the Al-Mahsa area occupied by ISIS. When the convoy passed within our range of fire, the guard units targeted the convoy with anti-tank missiles. We were unable to confirm any casualties among the ranks of the terrorist organization. Our force is still in a state of complete readiness and prepared for any possible attack. God willing, we will launch a counterattack when we find the appropriate opportunity.
